Studio Policies

Gorilla Grind requires a deposit of $50.00 (2 hour block minimum) or ½ of the time you are booking (3 or more hour blocks) to book all sessions. This ensures you will get the dates you request and protects our studio from unexpected cancelations, keeping our rates low. Your deposit will be credited towards the balance of your session. Day rates require a $200 per day deposit.

Deposits may be paid in check to: Gorilla Grind Design & Production, 4932 SE Woodstock Blvd., Portland , OR 97206 , or in person. Cash deposits must be delivered in person. We accept credit card payments via PayPal. Please inquire if need.

Gorilla Grind will hold reserved days for up to 3 days while awaiting mailed deposits, after 3 days reserved dates may be lost."

All Deposits are fully refundable up to 10 days before session start time.

Sessions can be rescheduled within ten days of and prior to 48 hours from the scheduled dates and retain deposit credits, the deposit will transfer to the new date(s), but cannot be refunded.

In case of cancellations on our after 48 hours of session start time, deposits become non-transferable or refundable.

Sessions start at the time they are reserved for, regardless of client’s presence, and continue until all studio functions have ceased and clients have vacated. We advise clients to arrive 30 minutes early to allow for setup.

All outstanding balances, including all media (CDR) used, must be paid in full at the end of each session. No media will be released to the client, including rough mixes, until the entire balance is paid.

Gorilla Grind cannot be held liable for damages out of our control to media or equipment. Media left over 15 days will be disposed of at our discretion. Master tapes and computer files left at the studio are not insured.

Gorilla Grind works hard to keep our facility in 100% working order and sounding great. In the unlikely occurrence any session is cancelled or delayed due to equipment failure, or any reason beyond of control of the client or Gorilla Grind, we will do our best to reschedule or refund clients on a case-by-case basis.
